Ethics and integrity
Principles and mechanisms for preventing misconduct, managing conflicts of interest, and protecting those who report in good faith. Guidelines that support transparent conduct and the impartial handling of cases.
It sets out BLC Global’s commitments to prevent bribery, corruption, and the obtaining of any undue advantage in its activities and relationships within both the public and private sectors. It promotes compliance with applicable regulations, the implementation of preventive controls, and the objective investigation of potential instances of non-compliance.
It guides the identification, disclosure, and management of actual, potential, or apparent conflicts of interest. It promotes objective and impartial decision-making, the independence of those involved, and the confidential handling of inquiries and communications related to such situations.

It establishes a commitment to protect BLC Global members who, in good faith, report irregularities or ethical concerns, or who assist in addressing them. It promotes accessible and confidential internal channels, as well as the prevention, identification, and handling of any form of retaliation.
It defines the operating principles of the channel for reporting conduct that runs counter to BLC Global’s standards or commitments. It establishes confidentiality, the option to report anonymously, and the handling of cases by an Ethics Committee that operates with functional independence.
It complements the general policy and extends protection against retaliation to those who use the channel in good faith, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders. This protection remains in place even if the reported facts are not confirmed. Any potential retaliation is investigated independently of the original case.
